About the location
MUCD Kawasaki I boasts overwhelming advantages as a delivery hub that enables speedy delivery to major areas within Tokyo Prefecture, including delivery to Shibuya and Shinjuku in about 30 minutes via the Tomei Expressway and Loop Road No. 8, or to anywhere in the 23 wards of Tokyo in about 60 minutes. Located close to Daisan Keihin Road and National Route 409, this multi-tenant logistics facility offers excellent access to surrounding areas including Kawasaki and Yokohama.
Features of the facility
The facility has truck berths on both sides of the 1st floor and one side of the 2nd floor, creating a highly versatile logistics facility that can meet varied tenant needs including pass-through delivery and storage. The exterior design uses a white line to emphasize the slope characterizing the facility, and a design of random tones on the Tama River-side facade to evoke the flow of the river.
About building certifications
On November 30, 2021, the structure earned the highest five-star rating of the Building-Housing Energy-efficiency Labeling System (BELS), and on March 18, 2022, earned the highest "Rank S" rating of the Comprehensive Assessment System for Built Environment Efficiency (CASBEE) from a CASBEE evaluation and certification organization.
