Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development, Inc. (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Masahito Tamura; hereinafter "Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development") and The Sankei Building Co., Ltd. (Location: Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Kazunobu Iijima) announce that construction of MCUD Minamisuita, jointly planned by the companies in Minamisuita, Osaka Prefecture, has been completed on November 30, 2023.
MCUD Minamisuita is a logistics development site close to the center of Osaka Prefecture, featuring outstanding access to urban areas in the direction of Amagasaki and the Hokusetsu region. Surrounded on all sides by consumer areas, the location is exceptionally suited to logistics. The facility also enjoys a large working population in its surrounding area and is within walking distance of the nearest train station, advantageous factors in securing workers.
MCUD Minamisuita is a five-story multi-tenant logistics facility offering berthing on the first through fourth floors, each of which has a floor space of over 13,000m2. The leased sections can be partitioned into up to 12 sections to flexibly meet tenants' diverse needs.
This environmentally considerate, multi-tenant logistics facility achieves energy conservation and environmental impact reductions in its equipment through the installation of a solar power generation system that covers a portion of the site's lighting and other electricity needs. The facility has earned the highest five-star rating of the Building-Housing Energy-efficiency Labeling System (BELS) and the highest "ZEB" rating of the Net Zero Energy Building (ZEB) Certification program.
