MCUD Zama

MCUD LOGISTICS

Completed in January 2018

Located in western Kanagawa Prefecture, this build-to-suit (BTS) logistics facility is designed with consideration of energy conservation, versatility, and comfort. It is easily accessible from major highways and is close to high population concentrations in the western part of the Tokyo metropolitan area. This functional facility adopts a brace-less Rahmen structure and offers outstanding storage capacity, with full consideration of efficiency for tenant companies.

About the location

The facility offers favorable access to highways from its location about 3 km from National Route 246, a major road in Kanagawa Prefecture, and about 6 km from National Route 16, a loop line servicing the Tokyo metropolitan area. This location enables coverage of nearly all areas in Kanagawa Prefecture within 60 minutes. Close to population centers in the western part of the Tokyo metropolitan area, the location is also advantageous for securing workers.

Features of the facility

Taking efficiency for tenant companies into consideration, this functional facility's design uses a brace-less Rahmen structure and achieves pillar-free spaces of up to 45m x 19m on the fourth floor for outstanding cargo storage capacity. It adopts LED lighting throughout the building for energy conservation and includes a powder room in the women's toilet as a consideration for securing employees. The facility can also support additional installation of vertical conveyors.
