Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development, Inc. (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Masahito Tamura) announces that it has begun construction of the Komaki Fumitsu Logistics Facility Project (tentative name) in Fumitsu, Komaki, Aichi Prefecture, on October 2, 2023. Completion of the project is scheduled for the autumn of 2024.
Two expressways are accessible from Komaki Interchange, a starting and ending point for the Meishin Expressway and Tomei Expressway. The location is able to meet the need for a wide-area delivery hub servicing the Kanto and Kansai areas, and can act as a vital core hub for the Chubu area. The facility can be divided and leased by up to three tenants. It features spacious pillar spans and truck berths, allowing flexible adaptation to varied industries and types of freight.
Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development will continue to advance our development business to provide superior logistics facilities that meet the needs of tenants and investors in the high quality income-generating real estate development market, fully leveraging the logistics facilities development/operations know-how and the information-gathering capabilities of the Mitsubishi Corporation Group.
